The Shahkot police have arrested a drug peddler on the charge of selling heroin.
Investigating Officer (IO) and Talwandi Sangherra police post in charge Major Singh said that 4 grams of
heroin was recovered from the possession of the accused, identified as Meetu alias Meeta, son of Harjindar,
a resident of Pati Malsian, Malsian village.
IO said a case under sections 21 /61 / 85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused.
The Nakodar Sadar police arrested drug peddler Joga Singh, son of Parkash Singh a resident of Billi Chao village, with 15 intoxicant tablets, said the IO Gurnam Singh.
The Nakodar city police arrested two drug peddlers, Ajay alias Chatak, son of IndarJit Singh and Anthoni
alias Babbu, son of Anwar Masih, both residents of Malrri village, with 115 intoxicant tablets
