NAKODAR
The Mehat Pur police have arrested a drug peddler on the charge of selling heroin and intoxicant tablets.
Investigating Officer (IO) Kashmir Singh said that 2 grams of heroin,15 intoxicant tablets (loose), and Rs 4250 drug money were recovered from the possession of the accused, identified as Des Raj alias Desa, son of Kaka Singh, a resident of Umre Wal village
IO said a case under sections 21/22/61/85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused.
The Nakodar Sadar police arrested a drug peddler, Charanjit Singh, son of Malkit Singh, a resident of Himachal Pradesh and presently living in Phagwara, with 1 gram of heroin, said I.O. Gurnam Singh.
