The Lohian Khas police have solved the murder mystery of Harjit Kaur, wife of Kulwindar Singh, a resident of Guru Nanak colony, Lohian Khas, and arrested the accused.
Shahkot Deputy Superintendent of Police DSP) Onkar Singh Brar said that the accused has been identified as Dalbir Singh, son of Nirwair Singh, a resident of Dabulian village under Fattu Dhinga police station, Kapurthala.
DSP said the accused had molested, looted, and murdered the victim on July 15 near Mannak village bus Adda on GT Road.
DSP said the accused knew the deceased, had friendly relations, and murdered her due to personal reasons.DSP said a case under section 103 (murder)and 3(5) (committing a crime with criminal intention) of thBNS was registered against the accused on a complaint from Harjit Singh, a resident of Turna village and father of the deceased and impounded a Brezza car used by the accused in the crime, and a mobile.
