The Nakodar City police have arrested a drug peddler on the charge of selling intoxicant tablets.
Investigating Officer (IO) Balbir Singh said that 52 intoxicant tablets (loose) were recovered from the possession of the accused, identified as Kaif, son of Salim, a resident of Udham Singh Nagar.
IO said a case under sections 22/61/85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused.
The Nurmahal police arrested two drug peddlers, Vishal, son of Jagjit Ram, and Harkaran Pal Singh, son of Iqbal Singh, residents of Gorsian Peeran village, with 110 intoxicant tablets, said IO Gurnam Singh.
The Bilga police arrested drug peddler Rajindar alias Raju, son of Amarjit Singh of Bhode village, with 5 intoxicant injections (loose) said IO Kulwindar Singh.
