Reappear exam of 12th standard concludes peacefully AMID strict arrangements

S.A.S. Nagar:The re-appear examination of 12th standard was today conducted at district headquarters of the state. It is important to note that this year around 63000 students were placed in compartment in the 12th standard examinations out of which 55000 sat for their re-appear exam in 61 subjects. The exam was conducted amid strict arrangements and it passed off peacefully due to the efforts of the Punjab Government and the dedication of the staff of  Education Department along with Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) with only 1 case of copying reported in the subject of economics from Hoshiarpur.

MOU between CT University and University of Zambia

CT University signed a Memorandum of Understanding with University of Zambia to promote academic and research co-operation between the two institutes.

बॉर्डर सिक्योरिटी फोर्स की ओर से सीमा पर कड़ी चौकसी बरतने की वजह से जमीन के रास्ते बांग्लादेश को गाय-बैल-बछड़ों की तस्करी होना लगभग बंद हो गया है. हालांकि पशु तस्कर फिर भी बाज नहीं आ रहे हैं. 'तू डाल-डाल, मैं पात-पात' वाली कहावत पर चलते हुए ये तस्कर अब जमीन को छोड़ नदी के रास्ते पशुओं की तस्करी कर रहे हैं. लेकिन इसके लिए वो गाय-बैल-बछड़ों के ऊपर जो बर्बरता कर रहे हैं, उसे देखकर किसी का भी कलेजा मुंह को आ सकता है.

CBSE may advance Class 10, 12 board exams to give more time for evaluation

Class 10 and 12 board examinations conducted by the CBSE may start from mid-February rather than March to provide more time for the evaluation of answer scripts, sources said.

According to a senior CBSE official, a committee being set up to suggest systemic changes in the evaluation process followed by CBSE for board exams will explore this aspect.

German professor at JNU threatens suicide, says stable now
