Pradhan Mantri Shahri Awas Yojana seems like a boon for the homeless

The government's Pradhan Mantri Shahri Awas Yojana is proving as a blessing for the homeless. Under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Tej Partap Singh Phoolka in District Barnala, the scheme provides funds for the construction of houses to the homeless. Manpreet Singh Sidhu, Executive Officer, Nagar Panchayat Handiaya informed that cases of 40 beneficiaries have been passed in Nagar Panchayat Handiaya out of which 39 beneficiaries have started construction of houses.
