Villager arrested for stealing coin box from religious place

NAKODAR

 The Mehat Pur have arrested a person on the charge of sealing coin box from a religious place.

Investigating officer(IO) Surjit Singh said that the accused has been identified as Rajan a resident of Mehsam Pur colony .

Rattan Singh a resident of Tandaura village complained to the police that the accused stolen cash box from a religious place and tried to fled away but village residents chased him and caught him and handed over to the police.IO said that a coin box, Rs 3540,one hammer, one chisel and a motor cycle without number was recovered from him.

IO said that a case under section 454(house trespass) and 380(theft in dwelling house ) of the IPC has been registered against the accused. 

Rampal a resident of Tandaura village also complained to the police that the accused stolen cash and jewellary from his house.
