Unidentified motorcyclist booked for death by negligence

SHAHKOT

The Shahkot  police have booked an unidentified motor cyclist on the  charge of causing death by negligence.

Gurmit Singh  a resident of Killi village  complained to the police that his son Sahil was standing with his two wheeler at Ramghariya chowk with his friends on May 25 when an unidentified motor cyclist hit him and his friends. He said Sahil was rushed to civil hospital but he succumbed to his injuries on the way

 Investigating Officer Joga Singh said that a case under sections 304-A (causing death by negligence) 279(rash driving on public road)337(causing hurt by act endangering life or personal safety of others ) and 427(mischief) of the ipc  has been registered against unidentified motor cyclist .
