Three drug peddlers arrested under NDPS Act

NAKODAR: The Nakodar city police have arrested a  drug peddler on the charge of selling  intoxicant tablets .  Investigating officer (IO) Kewal  Singh  said that 130 intoxicant tablets were recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Tirath Singh son of  Lehmbar  Singh   a resident of Jandiala  village in Phillaur .  IO said that   a case under sections 22/61/85 of the NDPS Act has  been registered against the accused.

The Mehat Pur police arrested two drug peddlers Kalu son of Rannjit Singh and Manga son of Guljar Singh residents of ward no,12 near police station ,Khem Karan in Tarn Taran with 72 intoxicant tablets, said investigating officer Rajindar Kumar.
