Camp for blind persons on June 9 in Virsa Vihar

JALANDHAR: Louise Braille Welfare Association for the Blind would organize a district level camp for the blind persons on June 9 in Virsa Vihar where they can avail various services including UID card enrollment, Disability Certificate, Bus Pass, railway concession certificate.

The camp will start at 9 am and will conclude at 4 pm.

 

The camp will start at 9 am and will conclude at 4 pm.

 For UID card enrollment, the person must bring proof of identity or residence proof or school certificate. Similarly to get railway concession certificate, copies of UID card, disability certificate and one passport picture.

 He further told that for disability certificate, one must bring copies of proof or UID card, passport size picture besides two passport pictures and copies of disability certificate and identity card for a bus pass in the camp.

 He also added that the persons must also bring their original certificates or documents in the camp for availing the services.
