Residents again urge DC to remove inconvenience in way of affidavit

 Area residents in January 2018 had urged Jalandhar deputy commissioner (DC)Varindar Kumar Sharma to remove inconvenience in way of affidavit.

Social activist and a resident of Baina pur village Dilbag Singh had submitted a representation to DC who was here for inspecting sub tehsil office.

Representation said that residents come to tehsil complex for typing affidavit and checking by tehsildar office. After this they go to seva kendar for photography and come to tehsil office for signature and again go to seva kinder for sticker pasting.

Representation said seva kendar is situated in block office which is two and half kilometer away from tehsil office and it is very difficult for old age resident to get an affidavit .Residents demanded that seva kendar should be opened in tehsil office.

They said that only two stamp vendors sit in tehsil office and more licenses should be issued for stamp vending.

Representation said that sub tehsil office has not enough computers and they receive online documents very late.

Deputy Commissioner had assured to solve residents problems.

Dilbag Singh in a reminder representation to Deputy Commissioner said residents continue to face difficulties and urged him to take necessary steps to remove inconvenience in way of affidavit.
