Woman among six arrested for assaulting woman,

 LOHIAN KHAS: The Lohian Khas police have arrested six persons including a woman on the charge of assaulting a woman.

Investigating officer(IO) Rajindar Kumar said that the accused have been identified as Kewal Singh a resident of Giddarrpindi village, his sons  Beant Singh, Suraj Pal and, Satpal and ,Surjit Kaur, Chalwindar Singh alias Chatra resident of Giddarr Pindi village.

Krishna wife of Harbans Singh a resident of the same village had complained to the police that the accused were trying to encroach her plot on May 15 and when she objected they assaulted and threatened her.

IO said a case under sections 323,324(voluntarily causing hurt with weapons ),447(criminal trespass),341(wrongful restraint ),506(criminal intimidation )and 148 and 149(rioting ) of the IPC was registered against the accused.
