Two arrested ,two booked for selling illicit liquor

NAKODAR/BILGA  

 The Nakodar city  police  have   arrested two   men for selling illicit liquor. Investigating Officers(IO’s) Lakhwindar Singh and Jit Singh  said that 14 bottled of liquor and  69 bottles of booze were seized from the accused identified as Ravi  a resident of Mehat Pur and Tarsem Singh alias Kala a resident of Malarri village ..IO’s  said that  cases under sections 61/1/14 of the Punjab Excise Act have  registered against the accused and Kala has been released on bail. 

The Bilga police booked Resham Singh and Kala alias Kali residents of Bhode village for brewing illicit liquor and recovered from their possession 50 bottles of  hooch,3200 litters Lahann(raw liquor) and a drum , said investigating officer Dalbara  Singh.
