Eight booked for assaulting a man

NURMAHAL

 The Nurmahal police have booked eight persons  on the charge of assaulting a man .

Investigating officer (IO) Balraj Singh said that the accused have been identified as Shinda and Happy residents of Sanghe Jagir village and Channi,Sunny,Manpreet,Gurpreet ,Fariyad and MP all  resident of Bir Pind village in Nakodar  .

Rahul a resident of Sanghe Jagir village complained to the police that the accused   attacked him with sharp weapons and seriously injured him on June 21 and threatened him with dire consequences .

IO said that a case under sections 323,324(voluntarily causing us hurt dangerous weapons or means ) 506(criminal intimidation )and 148 and 149(rioting ) of the IPC  has been registered against the accused.
