Seven booked for assaulting Ferozepur resident

SHAHKOT  

 The Shahkot  police have booked seven   persons  on the charge of assaulting a Ferozepur resident .

Investigating officer (IO) and Talwandi Sanghera police post in-charge Bhupindar Singh  said that the accused have been identified as Nindar Singh a resident of Fatehgarh Sabhrah village ,Mohar Singh a resident of Baharwali village in Ferozepur ,Kairon a resident of Gatti Jattan village in Moga,Paramjit Singh alias Pamma a resident of Ferozepur,Sajawar Singh a resident of Bahabar Ke village in Ludhiana, Amarjit Singh a resident of Ladhuka village in Fazilka and one called  as Giani  .

Bachitar Singh a resident of Dholewal village in Ferozepur complained to the police that he has taken agricultural land on rent in Danewal Mand village where  the accused attacked him with sharp edged weapons on July 10 and injured him and threatened him .

IO said that a case under sections 323,324(voluntarily causing ) 341(wrongful restraint)506(criminal intimidation)and 148 and 149(rioting ) of the IPC has been registered against the accused .
