Six booked for assaulting couple

 The Lohian Khas police have booked six  persons  on the charge of assaulting a couple .

Investigating officer (IO) Mandip Singh  said that the accused have been identified as Gurpreet Singh ,Gurtej Singh and Lakhbir Singh residents of Mannak village and their three unidentified accomplices .

Gurwindar Singh  a resident of the same  village complained to the police that the accused waylaid  him on July 9 and assaulted him and his wife .

IO said that a case under sections 323(voluntarily causing hurt) 341(wrongful restraint )and 34(committing crime with common intention ) of the IPC has been registered against the accused .
