Tour De World Organised at The Nobel School

JALANDHAR: The Nobel School has always looked at the things from a different perspective. Keeping the interest of students in mind, the school organised the ‘Tour de World’ activity. It was the approach that feeds the experiential learning of the students to encourage them to learn and research about various countries of the world. The class teachers were allotted the countries by a method of ‘DRAW’, nearly 2 weeks before. Now the class has to imitate the ambience and portray the lifestyle of the allotted country which were:

Grade I- Africa

Grade II- France

Grade III- Canada

Grade IV- Malaysia

Grade V- Nepal

Grade VI- Egypt

Grade VII- Brazil

Grade VIII- Afghanistan

Grade IX- Japan

Grade X- U.A.E

with the preparation taking its course for nearly two weeks, students dressed up like the natives, used all kinds of crafty skills and innovation in class decoration, introductory dialogues in the native language,  cuisines prepared cultural dances that demanded creativity and challenged the students to create something exemplary. Honourable Chairman, Prof. C.L. Kochher , Managing Director Er. Kumar Shiv Kochhar, Madam Principal  Meenakshi Mehta toured the virtual world created by the students in the classrooms and were amazed to see that was quite remarkable. Chairman Sir applauded the effort of the students and congratulated them on making this learning activity a huge success. He added that experiential learning provides students with factual and historical knowledge with ease and at will.
