73rd Independence day Celebration at The Nobel School

JALANDHAR: The Nobel School, celebrated 73 rd Independence Day with unprecedented patriotic fervor on Aug 17, 2019. The gamut of celebration activities held on the campus consisted of special acts, poetry recitation, dance and an impressive flag unfurling ceremony. Chairman of the school Prof. C.L Kochher, Managing Director Kumar Shiv Kochhar and Principal Meenakshi Mehta performed the flag hoisting ceremony and honoured the Tiranga by singing a national anthem which echoed in the entire campus.

The cultural programme at School commenced with everyone singing together ‘School song’. The spirit of freedom and nationalism was well exhibited by the student and teachers of The Nobel School through a spectrum of patriotic poems, speeches on freedom fighters, songs and dance. One act play highlighting the hanging of Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, and Sukhdev brought tears to everyone’s eyes Committed to the task of nation-building, both faculty and student pledged to serve their motherland through spreading education and serving the community.

In the end, the Chairman Prof. C.L Kochher gave a speech reminding the students and the teachers of the sacrifices made by our great freedom fighters and made us take a pledge that we would serve our motherland, India with heart, body, and soul to bring it glory and laurels with our dignified deeds. He also emphasized on making our environment clean and green. In the end, the students have distributed sweets.
