Woman among three booked for sacrilege incident in Lohian Khas village

LOHIAN KHAS The Lohian Khas police have booked three persons including a woman in connection with an incident of sacrilege at Khosa village    where the holy granth Gian Parksh was found outside from village Dharmshala where it was installed. 

Investigating officer (SHO) Mandip  Singh  said that the accused  have  been identified as Surindar, member panchayat Khosa village ,Mangal Singh a resident of the same village and his wife Jaswant Kaur .

Tarlok Singh a resident of Mandala village complained to the police that he is state vice president of Bhagwan Kranti Sena and Dilraj Singh a resident of Khosa village phoned him that the holy granth Gian Parkash was installed in Bhalmik   Dharmshala and the accused removed it from DharamShala and kept it in a street and we installed it on a cot adding that the accused have insulted their feelings

IO said that a case under section 295-A (deliberate and malicious acts intended to outrage religious feeling of any class by insulting its religion or religious beliefs) has registered against the accused.
