BJP Leader RMS Chhina Pay Tributes to Arun Jaitley, Call him bridge between SAD-BJP Alliance

AMRITSAR: Senior BJP leader Rajinder Mohan Singh Chhina today condoled the death of former Union Cabinet Minister and top-level party leader Arun Jaitley who died in Delhi today. Paying rich tributes to Jaitley, Chhina who was the covering candidate for him during 2017 by-election for Amritsar Parliamentary seat, said Jaitley was a bridge between the SAD-BJP historic Alliance in Punjab.

He was a visionary leader and the demise is personal loss to me. He was one of the most tall figures in the political history of the country", said Chhina adding that the nation lost a statesman politician who was asset not only for the party but for the whole nation. ``I am really saddened by his death. He was my senior in the party and his able guidance and support had been a great help to me", said Chhina

He used to love Amritsari food and its culture and was fond of its street food. He knew all the eating joints in the walled city areas too. His love for the city of Golden Temple was matchless as this city was his `Nanaka' (maternal parents's home). He would always say that the Hindu-Sikh unity was paramount in Punjab and the thus was the votary for the long lasting SAD-BJP political partnership.
