Teacher’s Day celebrated in The Nobel School

JALANDHAR: The Nobel School, Jalandhar, celebrated Teacher’s Day with zeal and zest on 5th September , 2019. A day dedicated to teachers and their contributions in shaping one's life, it commemorates the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, the first Vice President and second President of independent India.  There was an unusual excitement in the school atmosphere which was quite contagious. The relationship between a student and a teacher is considered sacred in Indian society.


It is commonly believed that a teacher is like a gardener, who nurtures different kinds of flowers his Garden. On this day, various activities, to pamper teachers and to express gratitude and respect towards them, were organised in the school, in which students and teachers collectively presented various short poems, song, speeches to enlighten the importance of the Teachers Day and to make this day full of entertainment. Apart from this various games were also organised for the Teachers followed by a cake cutting ceremony.

The school also give gifts and sweets to the teachers. On this occasion, Prof. C.L. Kochher addressed the teachers, lauded the entire staff for their exemplary contribution to the school’s phenomenal success and  stressed upon giving education with Values. He also, appreciated the sincerest efforts of the teachers in playing a catalytic role in the holistic development of every student.
