Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya selection test for class VI on January 11 and April 11

Last date to register for test is September 15

 JALANDHAR- The Deputy Commissioner Varinder Kumar Sharma said that Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) for the admission of class VI will be held on January 11, 2020 (Phase-1) and April 11, 2020 (Phase-2).

Sharma said that the registration for Class VI is being done through online portal on www. navodaya.gov.in and www.nvsadmissionclassix.in

He said that the last date for filling of online application for both the tests is 15th September 2019.

He said that more than 40 lakh students are expected to enroll themselves for appearing in the Navodaya Selection Tests for the year 2020-21 to be conducted on January 11, 2020 and April 11, 2020.

The deputy commissioner, who is also chairman of the Vidyalaya Management Committee exhorted the people to optimally utilize this opportunity for their children as these co-educational schools, one of which was imparting education in village Talwandi Madho of the district, were operational in all the districts of the country and were equipped with separate hostel facilities for boys and girls.

The Deputy Commissioner said that these schools offer free education, boarding and lodging facilities for the students besides ensuring holistic development of the students through wide cultural exchange program through migration scheme. 

He said that these schools run by Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti were also equipped with the ultra modern computer labs to impart hi-end computer education to the students.
