DC and CP thanks devotees, volunteers, officers/ officials for smooth and hassle free conduct of Sri Sidh Baba Sodal Mela

Spend more than two hours in temple during mela

 JALANDHAR: Deputy Commissioner Jalandhar Varinder Kumar Sharma and Commissioner of Police Gurpreet Singh Bhullar today thanked all the devotees, volunteers, officers/ officials for smooth and hassle free conduct of Sri Sidh Baba Sodal Mela.

Both the officers paid obeisance at the Sri Sidh Baba Sodal Temple during the mela and reviewed the entire arrangements for the mela. Both the officers spent more than two hours in the Temple Complex and instructed the officers and officials about their duty. They also partook langar at the temple and had detailed interaction with the devotees who had converged from various parts of the country.

They also had interaction with the langar committees , volunteers and other people who had contributed in the successful conduct of the mela. The Deputy Commissioner and Commissioner of Police complimented all the officers and officials who had rendered service zealously to make mela a huge success. They said that the mela has been successful and peaceful due to the untiring efforts of one and all.

On the occasion Additional Deputy Commissioner Jasbir Singh, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Ms D Sudharvizhi, Sub Divisional Magistrate Sanjeev Sharma, Revenue Officer Manohar Lal and others were also present.
