CT Group students & faculty tie Kesari turbans dedicated to 550th Birth Anniversary of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji

CT Group organizes turban tying event

 Jalandhar: The celebrations to mark 550th Birth Anniversary of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji have taken a step forward by organizing a turban tying event at its Shahpur campus. The event saw the participation of students from Punjab along with International participation of students from Africa and Nepal by donning saffron (Kesari) coloured turbans.

CT Group Chairman Charanjit S Channi, Managing Director Manbir Singh, Vice Chairman Harpreet Singh, Campus Director Dr. GS Kalra along with many staff members also participated by wearing the Kesari coloured turbans.

Earlier, CT Group initiated the marking of this pious occasion by reciting Sukhmani Sahib Path and later by organising a massive plantation drive at its Shahpur campus in which 550 students planted 550 saplings inside and outside the campus.

CT Group Chairman Charanjit S Channi said that we are trying our level best to contribute our bit in marking this pious event by following the teachings of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji.

While sharing about upcoming events dedicated to the same, Managing Director Manbir Singh said, “We have also planned various events in near future dedicated to 550th Prakash Purab like Literary competitions including a quiz, face painting etc.”
