Get 10 Arm license services through e-Sewa

JALANDHAR: The Punjab Government has brought 10 arms licensing services under eSewa, an application developed by the Punjab State eGovernance Society which will ensure fast services to the applicants by substantially reducing the delivery time.

To acquaint all the stakeholders involved in the issuing process regarding new orders, the district administration organized a training workshop for them in the district administrative complex.

Divulging the details, Additional Deputy Commissioner (G) Jasbir Singh said that the ten services are Issuance of Arms License, Entry of Arms, Duplicate of Arms, Addition of Weapon, Deletion of Weapon, Change of Bore or conversion of Weapon, Permission To Deposit of weapon in death case, NOC/Permission for Sale of Weapon, Permission for sale of weapon in death case/transfer of weapon in death case and renewal of Arms License have been launched through in eSewa Punjab.

He said that now after applying through eSewa for these services, the concern police officials involved in this process have to do the work through the online system and no manual work will be done.

Singh asked the officials to comply with the new orders and take applications the of such services through the e-Sewa portal only.

On the occasion, ADC (G) Jasbir Singh, Assistant Commissioner Ms Shayari Malhotra, SP (H) Ravinder Pal Singh Sandhu, District e-Governance Coordinator Ranjit Singh, District Technical Coordinator Hatinder Kumar and others were present.
