Unidentified truck driver booked for death by negligence

NAKODAR  The Nakodar sadar police have booked an unidentified truck   driver on the charge of causing death by negligence.

Jarnail Singh a resident of Billa Nawab   village complained to the police that his brother-in-law Sukhwindar Singh and sister –in-law Paramjit  Kaur were returning from Jalandhar in their car (PB-05-N-1004)on October 17  when an unidentified truck driver (PB-08-EH-5686) hit car from behind near Kang Sahib village on the Nakodar –Jalandhar road and killed Paramjit Kaur and seriously injured Sukhwindar Singh .

Investigating Officer Harbhajan Lal said that a case under section 304-A (causing death by negligence) 279(rash driving on a public way) 337(causing hut by an act endangering life or personal safety of others) 427(mischief) of the IPC has been registered against undefined truck driver.
