Woman among six drug peddlers arrested under NDPS Act

NAKODAR /BILGA The Nakodar sadar police have arrested three drug peddlers including a woman on the charge of selling intoxicant tablets .Station House Officer (SHO)S.S.Virk said that 250 intoxicant tablets were   recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Nina(34) wife of Buta  a resident of Chak Kalan  village,Balwindar Chand son of Balvir Chand a resident of Sohal Khurd village and Sodhi son of Mohindar Singh a resident of Talwandi Madho village in Shahkot  .

SHO said that cases under sections 22/61/85 of the NDPS Act have been registered against the accused.

The Nakodar city police arrested drug peddler Paramjit Singh son of Dhian Singh a resident of Mohalla Baghwala ,Shahkot with 130 intoxicant tablets, said investigating officer Balwindar Singh .

The Bilga police have arrested two drug peddlers on the charge of selling intoxicant tablets .Station House Officer (SHO)Baljindar Singh  said that 180 intoxicant tablets were   recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Gurjit Singh son of Lekh Raj and Taj Mohammad son of Jamaldin  residents Gumtala village .

SHO said that cases under sections 22/61/85 of the NDPS Act have been registered against the accused.
