Punjab state women games under 25 to be held in Mansa from Nov 14 to Nov 17, DC

3000 players, 400 officials from 22 districts to participate in the mega event

 MANSA: Mansa will be hosting the Punjab State Women Games under 25 for the second consecutive year from November 14 to November 17, 2019. Around 3000 female players and 400 officials from 22 districts will be participating in this event whose grand inaugural ceremony will be held at the Multipurpose Stadium in Nehru Memorial College Mansa on Nov 14.

Deputy Commissioner Mansa Apneet Riyait stated while presiding over the meeting of district Mansa officials held today to take stock of arrangements for the games. The Deputy Commissioner said that while the players will be staying at Mata Sundri College Mansa, different matches will be held at seven other locations that have been ear marked sports wise. The locations for matches include Nehru Memorial College, St Xavier's School, Mata Sundri College, Gandhi Memorial School, Cambridge School, Renaissance School and Water Works Park.

  

Departments have been directed to make proper arrangements for players lodging and boarding. Also medical teams have to be stationed at the places of matches and at the Mata Sundri College, where the players will be staying. Departments have been directed to publicize the event by pasting posters at various places in the district as well as holding public announcements.

ADC (G) Rajdeep Singh Brar, ADC (D) Gurmeet Singh Sidhu, SDM Budhlada Aditya Dechalwal, SDM Mansa Sarabjit Kaur, SDM Sardulgarh Rajpal Singh, Assistant Commissioner Navdeep Kumar, DDPO DInesh Vashisht, DSO Harpinder Singh, DPO Avinash Walia, DEO Rajwant Kaur, Civil Surgeon Dr Lal CHand Thakral and other officers were also present.
