Jalandhar: The atmosphere of CT World School and CT Public School was filled with spiritual wave when 550th birth anniversary of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji was celebrated in the schools premises highlighting the various aspects of Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s life, his teachings and how he continues to be an inspiration for millions of Sikhs and non-Sikhs across the world.

A series of religious activities including turban tying, recitation of path, slogan writing, painting and quiz were being organized to make students aware about the teachings of first Guru of Sikhs who laid the foundation of Sikhism. Shabad recitation by the students took everyone to the spiritual world which was followed by Prasad distribution.

Organising such religious ceremonies is the culture of CT World School and CT Public School which not only inculcates religious values amongst students but also connects them to grass roots and makes them aware about their customs.

Parminder Kaur Channi, CT Group Co-Chairperson appreciated the students and remarked that teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji uphold the key Sikh principle of equality which rejects discrimination in any form whatsoever.

Madhu Sharma, Principal CT World School and Daljeet Rana, Principal CT Public School appreciated the students and promised to organize such more events so as to make students aware of their culture.
