Two villagers booked for murdering Italy returned co-villager

NAKODAR The Nakodar sadar police on Tuesday booked two persons on the charge of murdering Italy returned co- villager.

Station House officer (SHO) Sikandar Singh Virk said that the accused have been identified as Hardip Singh son of Balwindar Singh and Kanouj son of Babi residents of Mudh village .

SHO said that the accused murdered by poisoning Jatindar Singh (35) son of Satwindar Singh  a resident of Mudh village who has  returned   from Italy yesterday.

SHO said that Parvindar Singh brother of the deceased complained to the police that Jatindar Singh went to meet his friend Hardip Singh alias Deepu  at his house on Tuesday morning where he was offered a poison mixed drink and he died on the spot. He said that both murdered his brother.

SHO said that a case under section 302(murder) and 34(committing crime with common intention) of the Indian Penal Code has been registered against the accused who are absconding and raids are being conducted to nab them.

SHO said that the body of the deceased has been sent to Nakodar civil hospital for post mortem and his viscera is being sent for medical examination.
