Ayodhya verdict: AAP welcomes decision; appeals to people for peace, amity

CHANDIGARH: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Punjab, president and Sangrur Member of Parliament (MP), Bhagwant Mann, has welcomed the unanimous decision of the 5-judge bench of the Supreme Court in the much-awaited Ayodhya case. Reacting to the historic, Mann has made a fervent appeal to the people of all communities to accept the verdict as also to maintain peace, amity and mutual bonhomie across the country.

In a statement issued from party headquarters in Chandigarh on Saturday, Mann said that the decision of the apex court, which was taken after hearing all the stakeholders in the case, should be accepted by one and all. “The AAP welcomes the court verdict decision coming after decades which caters to the larger interest of all communities”, Mann said. He further added that the case had been pending for decades and the apex court had resolved amicably in the larger interest of the stakeholders.

The AAP MP has appealed to the people of the country to maintain peace, amity and mutual harmony.
