97.31% lifting achieved

Disclosing this, an official spokesman of the government of Punjab informed that out of the total purchase from various procurement centres in the State, the government agencies procured 148.52 LMT of paddy while 98171 MT has been procured by the millers.
PUNGRAIN has procured 6164027 tonnes, MARKFED 3816248 tonnes and PUNSUP procured 3017919 tonnes while Punjab State Warehousing Corporation procured 1653974 MT paddy. The Centre government agency FCI has procured 199854 MT paddy.
As per the 72 hours norm, 97.31% lifting of the purchased paddy has been achieved, he informed.
