Hon’ble Punjab Governor to inaugurate 75th Platinum jubilee of the All India Textile Conference on November 15 at Chandigarh

CHANDIGARH: The Hon’ble Governor of Punjab and Administrator UT Chandigarh, Sh. V.P Singh Badnore will inaugurate the 75th Platinum jubilee of the All India Textile Conference being organized by The Textile Association (INDIA) PHC Unit, Chandigarh on November 15 at Hotel ‘The Lalit’ IT Park, Chandigarh.

Talking about the conference, the conference Chairman, S.N. Sodhi said that the aim of organizing this conference is to discuss the future, challenges and innovations in the field of textile business. He said that all the aspects of textile industry including impact of global trade policies and treaties on Indian Textile business will be thoroughly discussed.

The President of TAI (PHC), L.K. Singh said that the renowned people from the textile industry will be awarded on the occasion. “The experienced and well learned speakers will share their thoughts on the various issues that could lead the textile industry through global slowdown and bad state of economy”. He added.

The Hon Secretary of TAI (PHC), Satish Marwah said that more that 400 delegates from all over India are coming to participate in the conference and the event is going to be a huge success in the field of textile business. “The issues like Industry 4.0; an option in future, Aligning India with Global Fiber Mix, Adopting the sustainable way of achieving future growth etc. will be discussed during the event” Added Marwah.
