Woman among seven drug peddlers arrested under NDPS Act

SHAHKOT/NAKODAR /BILGA /NURMAHAL

 The Shahkot police have arrested four drug peddlers on the charge of selling heroin.  Station House Officer (SHO) Surindar Kumar 43 grams heroin was   recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Davindar Singh alias Sonu son of Pawitar Singh a resident of Kartar Nagar,Shahkot ,Sikandar Varma alias Captain son of Lal Chand , Avtar Lalla son of Viru  and Hari Varma alias Luta  son of  Lal Chand  residents of Mohalla Baghwala Shahkot

 SHO said that    cases under sections 21/61/85 of the NDPS Act have been registered against the accused.

The Nakodar sadar police arrested woman drug peddler Pallo wife of Karnail a resident of Thabalke village with 100 intoxicant tablets, said investigating officer Manjit Singh.

The Bilga police arrested drug peddler Ranjit Singh alias Ranna son of Gurdass Singh a resident of Sangowal village with 110 intoxicant tablets, said investigating officer Baljit Singh.

The Nurmahal police arrested drug peddler Balwant Singh alias Sukha son of Jarnail Singh a resident of Umrewal village in Nakodar with100 intoxicant tablets, said investigating officer Mohandar Pal.
