Compensation of Rupees 2500 given to eligible Farmers to stop Stubble Burn

Tarn Taran : Deputy commissioner TarnTaran organized a meeting to implement  Government decision to give 2500 rupees compensation to stop Stubble Burn. In  This regard all the head of departments present their to stop Stubble Burn. 
 
Briefing about the compensation the D.C said that only those farmers are eligible which have less than 5 acres of land. It includes his wife and under teen son or daughter.He had not set fire in field. He also said that the Farmer who is eligible will have to fill self declaration form that is available at Panchyats.
 
The last date of submission of form is 30 November.The compensation amount directly transfer to farmers bank account.He also requested that only eligible Farmers fill the form. The compensation will be granted only after verification from Revenue department.
