Mother son duo booked for assaulting man

SHAHKOT The Shahkot police have booked a mother son duo on the charge of assaulting a man.

Investigating Officer (IO) and Malsian police post in-charge Sanjivan Singh said that the accused have been identified as Kuldip Kaur a resident of Patti Shahla Pur ,Malsian village  and her  son Rajdip   Singh.

Nirmal Singh alias Nimma a resident of the same locality complained to the police that he was sleeping in his house on November 6 when his wife and son assaulted and injured and threatened  him adding that his wife fraudulently registered his house on her name which is reason of attack .

IO said that a case under sections 323, 325(voluntarily causing grievous hurt) 506(criminal intimidation) and 34(committing crime with common intention) of the IPC has been registered against the accused.
