One arrested, three booked for outraging woman’s modesty

SHAHKOT The Shahkot police have arrested one person and booked three others on the charge of outraging woman’s modesty.

Investigating Officer (IO) Amandip Kaur said that the accused has been identified as Surjit Lal Laddi a resident of Said Pur Jhiri village.

Sohan Lal a resident of the same village complained to the police the accused barged into his house on December 2, assaulted him and outraged modesty of his wife Kulwant Kaur.

 

IO said that a case under section 354 (criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty), 354-A (sexual harassment), 452(house trespass) and 34(committing crime with common intention) has been registered against the accused and his son Manny ,brother Sunny and Guru Nayee a resident of Said Pur Jhirri village .
