Woman among three of family booked for assaulting villager; cross case registered

NAKODAR

The Nakodar sadar police have booked three members of a family on the charge of assaulting a village.

Investigating officer (IO) and Shankar police post in-charge Loveleen Kumar said that the accused have been identified as Jasvir Singh a resident of Bajuha Kalan village, his wife Baldish Kaur and son Hardip Singh.

Gurparshad Singh a resident of the same village complained to the police that the accused attacked him with bricks and injured him.

IO said that a case under section 323,324(voluntarily causing hurt with dangerous weapons or means) and 34(committing crime with common intention) of the IPC has been registered against the accused.

IO said that cross case has been registered in this connection and booked Gurparshad Singh,his father Satnam Singh and mother Surindar Kaur on the charge of demolishing a wall of 8 marlas plot which led to fight among two parties. A case under sections 323(voluntarily causing hurt) 341(wrongful restraint) and 34(committing crime with common intention) has been registered against the accused.
