Dhindsa ignites revolt against Badals, to attend SAD (Taksali)’s gathering on Dec 14

JALANAHDAR: Shiromani Akali Dal( SAD) is all set to witness the biggest revolt in the days to come, as senior Akali leader Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa has raised a banner of revolt against Badals and decided to attend the forthcoming function of Taksali Akalis on December 14.

“I have not quit Akali Dal as there is nothing wrong with the Akali Dal, but it is Badal family, which has not only captured the esteemed and prestigious Akali Dal but also ruined it”, Dhindsa said while talking to a TV channel.

Accompanying with another rebel Akali leader, Manjit Singh G K, Dhindsa reportedly said that all real Akalis would gather on December 14 and discuss how to get free the Akali Dal from the clutches of Badal family.

Apart from Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa, his son and former Punjab finance minister Parminder Singh Dhindsa is also expected to join the ceremony on December 14.

Prominent among others, who would attend the forthcoming gathering include Bains Brothers Simrajit Singh Bains, Balwinder Singh Bains (Both MLAs) and Punjab Ekta Party’s Sukhpal Singh Khaira.

Sources said some more disgruntled Akali leaders would also attend the December 14 gathering.

 

Political experts claimed that BJP may be behind such anti-SAD activities, as it would get an opportunity to get align with a Sikh political platform, in case Saffron party decides to snap ties with SAD (Badal) before 2022 assembly elections.
