Poll season begins in Punjab, so as ‘bickering’ in BJP against “Sampla & Company”

JALANDHAR: Poll season has already began in Punjab and so as the bickering in the political parties and Saffron party of BJP, claims to be a “Party with Difference” is not spared from it and senior party leaders have already started feeling ignored by the “Sampla & Company”.

Feeling ignored by state BJP Chief Vijay Sampla and his “Coterie”, some of the ‘disgruntled’ BJP leaders recently met Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley to narrate the tale of their woes at the behest of “Sampla & Company”

These leaders reportedly told Jaitley that they were being not involved in the party activities by the state leadership.

The delegation of 15 senior leaders, a number of them ticket aspirants, pointed out that despite claims for greater involvement of the workers by the state leadership, they were being ignored.

The delegation ‘disgruntled’ BJP leaders include former state presidents Kamal Sharma and Rajinder Bhandari, Rajya Sabha MP Shwet Malik, former minister Tikshan Sood, general secretary Rakesh Rathore, Phagwara MLA Som Parkash and Senior BJP leader Rajinder Mohan Singh Chhina among others.

These leaders alleged that State BJP Chief Vijay Sampla is promoting his “Coterie” and even explained that “Sampla & Company” comprises vice-president Harjit Singh Grewal, general secretary Manjit Singh Rai and secretaries Vineet Joshi and Jeevan Gupta.
