Tarn Taran: On the festive season of Lohri sale of Chinese kite strings is on roll despite of Police Claims of Strictness against it. The incident happened in Tarn Taran yesterday proves that their claims are fake on ground level. Yesterday a young man named Harmeet Singh resident of Village Dabuji seriously injured by Chinese kite strings. He had Bruttle cut on the throat. He had severe injury and admitted to the hospital. He had 15 Stiches on the throat. That can be life damaging too. He begged to  Government to take Strict actions Against the sale of Chinese kite strings.

With the Lohri festival round the corner, the illegal sale of synthetic rolls are at its peak while the district and the police administration have miserably failed to nail the perpetrators involved in the illicit sale. The shopkeepers were selling the same with code names and only to those who were personally known to them.

The police However said that they are in control of this situation only few here and there bad elements of society do this type of illegal activities . They warn that strict action has been taken against the people who has taken this illegal activities.
