Kejriwal may announce name of AAP Candidate from Lambi on December 28: Mann

JALANDHAR: Chairman of the Campaign Committee of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and MP Bhagwant Mann today revealed that National Convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is expected to announce the name of AAP’s Candidate from Lambi assembly segment on December 28.

Kejriwal will address a rally at Kolianwali village of Lambi on December 28 and it is expected that he will announce the name of AAP candidate against the Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal’s constituency”, Mann, who was here to address a massive political rally in support of the AAP’s candidate from Jalandhar Cantonment HS Walia at Jandiala town. 


About his candidature from Jalalabad, Mann said that he visited the constituency only twice and found there an immense support for AAP, which forces Sukhbir Badal to indulge in brain storming session of with coterie to finalise his candidature.

Asked about the possible alliance with Trinamool Congress, Mann said “We have already announced 102 candidates and six seats have given to Bains Brother and majority of the remaining five candidates are expectd to be releases in a couple of days. Where are the seats to be given to TMC?”, he quipped.

“I don’t know if there is direct talk between Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his counterpart of West Bengal Mamta Bannerji, if there is any talk on the alliance held between the two”, Mann added.

On a query whether Delhi MLA Jarnail Singh would contest poll from Punjab, Mann said “It is up to the party’s Political Affairs Committee (PAC) to decide”.

Earlier, AAP MP gave an interesting speech in support of Walia and indulged in the political attack against both Akalis and Captain Amarinder Singh.
