Nakodar resident arrested for smuggling liquor

NAKODAR The Nakodar city police on Friday arrested a town resident on the charge of smuggling liquor. Investigating Officer Balwindar Singh said 10 bottles of Nainna whisky (meant for sale in Chandigarh only) were seized from the possession of the accused identified as Balwindar Singh alias Bindu  a resident of Mohalla Guru Nanak Pura Nakodar .

  A case under sections 61/1/14 of the Punjab Excise Act has been registered against the accused that was released on bail.
