Five drug peddlers arrested under NDPS Act

NAKODAR The Nakodar city police have arrested two drug peddlers on the charge of selling intoxicant tablets. 

Station House Officer (SHO) Aman Sainni said that 190 intoxicant tablets were recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Jaswindar Singh alias Shinda son of Gurcharan Singh and Avtar Singh son of Jindar Singh residents of Malsian village in Shahkot . 

SHO said that cases under sections/22/61/85 of the NDPS Act have been registered against the accused.

The Lohian Khas police arrested drug peddlers Baldev Singh alias   Debu son of Fauja Singh a resident of Gatta Mundi Kasu village and his brother Balwinder Singh with 300 intoxicant tablets, said investigating officer Mandip Singh  

The Nurmahal police arrested drug peddler Rahul alias Kako son of Ram Lal  a resident of Balmik Gate  ,Nurmahal with 140 intoxicant tablets said investigating officer Dinesh Kumar.
