Father son duo booked for cheating, breach of trust

BILGA The Bilga police have booked a father son duo   for breach of trust, cheating and criminal intimidation.

Investigating officer (IO) Gursharan Singh said that the accused have been identified as Hardip Singh a resident of Behramke village  in Moga and his son Balraj  Singh.

Mandip Singh a resident of Ramewal village complained to Jalandhar (rural) senior superintendent of police (SSP) that he had sold his combine harvester to the accused for Rs 13 .10 lakhs in 2019 and the accused paid Rs 4.10 lakhs in cash and promised to pay areas of Rs 9 Lakhs after some time but did not pay as promised and hide combine somewhere.

    IO said that a case under sections 406 (breach of trust), 420 (cheating) and 506(criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) has been registered against the accused after an inquiry.
