Jalandhar residents give affirmative response to DC's appeal

Firm up support worth more than Rs 21.10 lakh

 

 Jalandhar- Giving an affirmative response to his appeal for the contributions in the District Relief Fund Society to the fight Coronavirus, the Jalandhar residents firmed up the support of around Rs 21.10 lakh.

After the appeal of the Deputy Commissioner Varinder Kumar Sharma,  a large number of philanthropists and social workers contributed to the district relief fund society in this hour of crisis due to Covid-19.

According to the details, Freewill sports and Capital, Small Finance Bank Limited contributed Rs 5 lakh, Rs 4 lakh given by AM International, Rs 3 lakh by Gymkhana Ladies Club, Rs 2 lakh by Guru Nanak, Rs one lakh by GDPA Fasteners, Rs 50,000 by Sutlej Filling Station, Rs 11,000 by Ram Avtar, Rs 10,000 by Pavitar Singh Sidhu, Rs 5000 was donated by Sanjay Vij, Parminder Singh, Kuldeep Kumar, Prince Filling Station, Chawla Filling Station and Ganpati Filling Station. Besides them, Navleen Singh Rekhi, Mandeep Singh, Sanjeet Singh Mangat, Saksham Behl, Surjit Singh, Monika Arora, Gagandeep Singh and Amarjot Singh also contributed generously.
