Technical Education Board to give Rs 5 crore in CM's relief fund: Channi

Cabinet Minister Channi announces to give one month salary in CM’s Relief Fund, inspired by him all the departments, boards and universities under him also comes forward to contribute in CM’s Relief Fund

Officials of department under him decides that Group A & B will give 7 days, Group C -3 days and Group D one day salary in the Chief Minister's Relief Fund

 CHANDIGARH: The Punjab Government under the leadership of Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh is fighting a war against the Corona virus in the stat and the Punjab Technical Education Board has come forward to join this war to defeat this deadly virus. The Punjab Cabinet Minister Charanjit Singh Channi in press statement issued here today said that the Punjab Technical Education Board would contribute Rs 5 crore in the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.

The Minister said that he has already announced to deposit his one month salary in CM Relief Fund and now on his inspiration departments under him i.e Technical Education and Industrial Training department, Employment Generation and Training department, Tourism and Cultural Affairs department, Punjab Skill Development mission, IKGPTU and MRSPTU have also come forward to contribute in the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.

As per the decision taken by these officers and employees, Group A and B to contribute 7 days salary , Group B 3 days and Group D one day salary in the Chief Minister's Relief Fund.

The Cabinet Minister Channi thanked all the officials and employees for their contribution for the service of humanity in the crises and also appealed to the Industrialists and other private, religious and social organizations to make maximum contribution in the fight against the deadly virus.
