Awareness on elections and voting rights (Innocent Hearts Group of Institutions)

 JALANDHAR: Students of Innocent Hearts Group of Institutions, Loharan campus participated in a rally to create awareness on elections and voting rights. More than 200 students participated to create awareness on elections and voting rights on Monday. The aim was to create awareness among young voters and enable them to participate in the voting process with enthusiasm. The students also motivate those who have not enrolled in the list to get themselves registered. In a drive to make people aware and understand their right as voters and exercise that right with full knowledge and responsibility. Students enthusiastically participated and interacted with the people to vote 100%. The rally started at 10 am, the area was abuzz with electoral education till 12 noon.

The placards and the handbills bore the message:

  • Voting is our right
  • Voting is our duty
  • Let us register 100% vote

The students created awareness regarding Voting is our democratic right. But only if the right is exercised with right awareness can the people witness change and development in the country and help it evolve stronger. And only development can give people of the society at all levels an access to improved and better life amidst the challenges growing globally.
