Chandigarh : The Shiromani Akali Dal today reacted strongly to the demand of the Aam Admi Party for withdrawal of security of the SAD-BJP leadership  in the state and described it as illegal and unjustified.

In a statement released from the party head office the SAD Secretary and Spokesman Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema said that the security is provided to various persons  only on the consideration of merit and not on political considerations.  Describing the demand as a serious conspiracy, Dr Cheema said that the AAP leaders wants to harm their political opponents in a systematic manner. On one side they are provoking the people to attack political rivals and simultaneously on the other side they want to use the Election Commission as a tool to withdraw the security of various leaders.

AAP wants to harm political opponents in a systematic manner : Dr. Cheema

Dr. Cheema  further said that Mr. Arvind Kejriwal who  used to criticize the security arrangements for the political leaders is now himself having Z security cover and keeps on demanding more security from the state whenever he visits the state. But on the other side  AAP wants that leaders of other political parties should be stripped of their security. This shows the double standards of Aam Admi Party.
