Shoe hurled on CM Badal’s face at Lambi

LAMBI: A couple of days after attack on Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Badal in his constituency of Jalandhar, today Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal was attacked in his constituency of Lambi, when a person hurled shoe on his face and CM’s eye glasses were broken.

It all occurred when CM was addressing the gathering on the first day of his campaign, Poor residents of the Lalbhai village in Lambi disrupted his speech and claimed that they didn’t get grants for the construction of toilets.

Suddenly a person hurled shoe on CM and the attacker was immediately overpowered by the Cops deployed at the venue, police sources said adding that attacker was identified as Gurbachan Singh, an alleged activist of Damdami Taksal.
